If you stalk big, wary trout with tiny flies, long leaders, and light tippet, look no further for the perfect fishing tool. G2 rods inspire confidence and fierce loyalty. It comes from knowing exactly where your fly is going to land and from knowing that when you hook that big selective fish on fine tippet, your rod is going to perform to land it. The G2 combines compound progressive taper designs, multi-modulus lay ups, and thin-walled, natural finish blanks, fit with the finest componentry and craftsmanship. What does that mean? It means that the last few minutes spent on your hands and knees crawling into position below a big riser won’t leave you wondering if 7X tippet is a cruel joke.

The G2 772/4 is light and sensitive with great feel, dubbed as the smallest member of the G2 series this is the rod to reach for if you're fishing for native trout with dry flies in small streams. This rod loads with a short line and flexes deeply during fights with smaller fish.

We design rods for high performance and build them to last a lifetime. Sometimes things don't go as planned and you break a rod (sometimes even we mess up). It's for these occasions that we warranty our fly rods and have a dedicated repair department of rod craftsmen.

Scott guarantees every fly rod and blank we craft with a serial number greater than 35,000. If for some reason we can't repair your rod, we'll figure out a replacement strategy with you.

Important - The Scott Lifetime Warranty applies only to the original owner and must be registered within 30 days of purchase. Unregistered or resold rods are not covered by this warranty.
The warranty does not cover loss or theft, loss or damage caused by transportation such as airlines, UPS, FedEx, US Mail, intentional damage, or damage from neglect.
