Madame X
The Bitteroot River, running south to north up against the Idaho border in western Montana is home to wonderful Salmonfly hatches. Doug Swisher designed the Madam X to imitate these insects and other long-bodied food items. In yellow, it apes hoppers and golden stones. The rubber legs give it the jiggle that fish like to see in such imitations.
