All standard Big Games come with a solid frame. Ported frames are available at a modest additional charge. Note: Abel’s Big Game Standard Arbor reels sizes 3N and larger come with Double Pawls.
Big Game model spools are positively locked to the main shaft and frame with a small knurled nut. The nut may be removed with a penny, dime or pocket screwdriver. Thanks to the newly-designed Square Tooth Drag Plate, all Big Game models reels are now user-convertable from right- to left-hand retrieve by following the enclosed instructions. Big Game reels are available in 10 sizes, with a variety of options.
